It was my second field day at work. It wasn't sunny outside, in fact it was rather chilly. My coworker and I went to go collect water samples from the lake shore in a golf cart. Unfortunately, my coworker couldn't swim. He freaked out when he saw that there were some waves in the water. (They went up to his knee). He called our boss and dutifully reported that the waves were too high; that the conditions were too dangerous and demanded that I say the same. And so I did, "the waves were too high."
